I’m not going to get away without a lecture on this one. I smashed a large pane of glass on his door where the dogs sleep. A lot of glass to sweep up and double check and some pretty deep injuries but I’m glad they seem to have stuffed bleeding.
Not knowing if there are any bandages or where they are if if they do exist It’s pretty significant oversight on my part. I’ve lived here two years and not needed them but when you need a bandage you really kind of need it now.
I was briefly afraid because it’s a reasonably big gouge and that first it didn’t seem to stop bleeding. It’s on my forearm side, and I suspect if it was on the inner side it would be considered the kind of cut you supposed to rush to the hospital with. I’m glad that’s not the case so far.
When I go to buy the duct tape I’ll see if I can get a set of bandages. I was thinking that there is a special wall in many variety stores It’s kind of like your kitchen junk drawer, and I bet it’s serviced by the same guy all over a region. You open up a variety store and he gives you a set of screwdrivers, pliers, rope, duct tape, bandages etc.
Some of that stuff may stick around for 5 years or more but when you need it it’s pretty darn convenient to have it within walking distance. The convenience store nearest me may not have it. I can’t tell if they have any experience but there certainly new at this store and I don’t seem to remember that wall. I distinctly remember it at the very store that is a farther walk. Did I mention the weather sucks?
It’s not raining now but everything is soaked including the chicken feeding bins.
