Now with better Grammar & Spelling
There's a way to use Google Chrome extensions on your phone but you can't get it from Google.

Now with better Grammar & Spelling

This is somewhat exciting. I’m trying new software and it’s something that could be useful, and relatively unknown to users so I should make a YouTube video. My first in a hopeful series telling people computer tips. I did it years ago with some success but lost those files in a big hard drive failure I don’t like to talk about.

I have been blogging mostly from my phone for several great reasons. I use voice to text dictation for a lot of my posts and it makes it easy to blog from anywhere.

I was using the WordPress android app, but recently it’s been having trouble uploading to my site, especially if the photo was huge, or if I tried even tiny videos.

It also doesn’t have a very good spelling and grammar checker, which is good for me, because I really don’t like to be bothered with proof reading or editing. Regular readers here may be familiar with the raw format of my blogging. Auto-correction has come a long way but isn’t perfect and the speech dictation often just gets the wrong words, which I hardly ever notice.

I wanted to use my Grammarly tool. It is a Chrome extension available on the desktop.

This morning I solved both problems and two more I didn’t realize were important to me until I had access to them again.

The WordPress app is quite good to a point. I recommend it for most people who want access to their WordPress blog from their phones. It is a very limited tool if you want to do much more.

Today, I loaded an APP called Kiwi Browser. It is one of the very rare Android web browser that has the courage to go against Google. It actually allows me to load many Google extensions on my phone  including Grammarly.

It also allows for several plugin options of WordPress not available to the APP.

And as a Bonus, I can now make it edit pages or posts using the DIVI builder theme of I choose. I am a huge fan of the DIVI theme for web design.

I hope this means future posts will be less confusing, at least from a grammar standpoint.
