I sat down to type with a very specific goal but it’s too hard a goal and too confusing to resolve today which is one of the most common reasons I don’t tackle it often. The mere idea of organizing my thoughts about our universe and our place in it and the idea that it’s all just stories Some come facts and some come with theories and some come with made up fantasy but it’s all just stories about now, or a now that has passed, because in our reality, NOW actually refers to the future. Since we only experience the concept of current, or NOW after it happened, that means we all live in the past, and the past is the place where we form the stories about things that happened as we existed in a past version of now.

Everything we do and are, is just the way we interpret our exposure to the now. Our lives may be on the edge of a forever active stream of light, but our comprehension of it is just on this side of now, and that is where the power of stories begins. When you trly understand this concept, and you realize that you are living in a different version of your history than anyone else. Even if your best  friend is standing by your side witnessing something together, it is not reality documenting the event. That task falls on how you interpret what you witnesed, and store it into your memory in a way that is uniquly you, combining years of your experience of every other action, event of thoughts you’ve developed since you were born.

How you store the story of a shooting star may be unintentionally skewed by a story from when you were only 6, and shooting stars were explained to you back then. It may be influenced by your schooling, or you doubt. I am cnfused by them and have not taken the time to ask Chat GPT why we never seem to be terrified whenever there is an asteroid storm. The person standing next to me may have never seen one in their life and always believed they were a rare thing almost nobody had ever seen, except in the movies. He is storing this moment to his universe’s library in a totally different way. We willl both re-tell this moment to different people with different slants. This splitting of the universe into stories is what we’ve always done, but just like our understanding of the universe in science believes it is expanding, so are the stories here on earth. My universe is not infinite, nor does it need to be. Technically, I have trouble with the idea of infinity and how it can expand. My universe is much more specifically defined as the place where I exist, and all the knowege I have accumulated both in eye-withness testimony and the stories I saved into the library. Neither is accurate or absolute, although we all chooose to consider our version of the unverse as canon. We were there duing the frcation between life and death.

EVerything we put to memory is the truth if we believeed that when we filedit away. If we had doubt, we store those memories in a different place and recall them in idle times to re-evaluate the decsion to label it a closed case and remember it as fact. Good people understand that everything can be re-evaluated if new evedence is presented. Some people have been taught that belief in something should be absolute and changing your facts is dangerous and trickery. This is usually taught by the people spewing an alternative story they benefit from you choosing their version and painting over the ability to unlock their facts for evaluation.

I have always loved finding out I had it wrong. In my ridiculous goal of perfection, swapping out false stories with facts is a beutifil thing. Growth. Occasionly I’l put up a fight to defend my belief vs the new evidence, but I feel confidence and pride that I choose the correct story most of the time. Getting anyone to admit to being wrong,  and changing a beliefe is a very hard task, and it often causes an avolanche of thinking as a foundational beliefe being removed from the libary can crumble and break you without assistance. 

This is why religions and cults are popular among people, as it creates a structure of beliefe you can base a life on and never have to worry about being right or wrong as long as your community is strong enough to hold back the logic that would tear apart everything you’ve based your life on. The strongest opposition can’t turn most people against themselves. They have a large enough community to comfort them and seperate them from havingto deal.

We see so much of this beig explained to us in the news in the year 2025. If it were a documentary (and I’m certain there will be many explaining it to us with their bias) it would be an ideal example of what I have said. There is a proud and loyal group of people who have chosen the community of support that provides the right answers to fill in their understanding of their universe. Jesus may have been their god till now. Trump is the new savior that will soon, die for their sins and his story will carry on and for many, replace the illogical giberish they once followed until this new modern leader came up with a better story.

The only way to get people to realize their belief system was wrong, and not feel like idiots, is to find a bigger bolder group, and all transfer together. Only a better cult can sway people away from their current lives and offer the promise of an even better one. Trump is a litte old to become the emporer for decades but he was perfect as the frontman, set up to be assasinated at some point in the future when one side of the country will celebrate and the followers will do whatever they are told, including the historical solution. If you think my story of our universe is wrong, then you must die. We can’t tolerate that kind of infection to our purity.

And then it starts all over again. There is always a con man coming up with a way to unseat the leader. 

As it turns out, the best story wins. Reality doesn’t matter. Nobody is paying attention to reality right now, and that is intentional. It’s a loser in a battle of stories when you believe anything in opposition is just a lie. Just ask a flat earth believer why they choose 3 articles against 10,000 facts and they wil almost always answer; those are just propaganda. Lies. These guys are the truth tellers. 

The reason there are more flat earth believers today is because of the community. The cult. If you follow me, I promise these rewards. A safe place where we can work together to convince more people to join.

The flat earth society is a recruiting community always looking to incres their numbers. The leaders may not even believe, and may fuel the fire but if they can win over enough believers tey gain power.

The best stories win. Our religion has bake sales, peer idscussions and praise nstead of ridicule. Doesn’t that sound great? I love stories and I put effort and energy into working on mine. Now I just have to figure out how and where to share it so I can being my own cult of Jeff and start gathering my followers. My audience of Instagram folowers are just curious enough to see more, but one day perhaps the numbers will reflect foloowers, and devoted fans and then we graduate into folowers that will pay for that privilage and carry out tasks at my resuest. then we all meet at some influencer fan convention and compete on a giant leader board. There can be only one.

My story vs yours. I have a head start. I’ve been paying attention, but I know there are true kings winning against my logical truth because life is a game and the points do matter.
