Who’s the boss? What’s on second.
I'm on charge and everyone is afraid, myself included.

I smiled at my creative title to this post even if it makes no real sense. I like coming up with cool blog post titles, but often the post has little relation just because I get distracted as I start to type. This blog post is a good example.

Back on topic, it’s a Tuesday and I am in charge of the whole farm for the rest of the week. I have never been given this responsibility before and the homeowners were reluctant, perhaps even afraid to do so because it’s a lot of animals to care for and I’m not totally in control to take care of myself.

My sister outright said no to my face. You can’t do this. When the babysitter they hired backed out, it looked like they would cancel the first joint vacation time the couple had planned in years. I said I can do it and there was much debate.

It’s routine. Scheduled tasks. Paying attention.changing focus from one thing to tend jkto the needs of the animals when they need it.

I’ve already failed at being perfect with the tasks while under supervision so I am certain they may feel like it wasn’t a good idea, but il do fine.

It’s not a hard job. It’s just a hard job for me to remain consistent and pay attention to my surroundings and care for other life forms. It’ll be fine I say. I am mostly believing it. It’s just that they bark all the time so it’s hard to tell when they bark to need something.
