The world, she is a changing

I don’t know much about how the real world is changing but here on the farm the rooster and I have almost made up. He hung around me today close and didn’t maintain eye contact which I take as a sign of trust.

The pig was also out of the coop wondering the backyard it 10 to 6:00, so I guess I have to start coming to feed him a little earlier than previous nights. Soon it will be quite dark by 6:00 so we’ll shift our times accordingly.

No weather hens were outside or came out tonight. It’s a little bit chillier than previous times but not substantially. I guess there’s a wind and they are nice and warm in their chicken coop.

The dogs have been a little bit more barky than usual. When they’re in there afternoon sleep area they do the most annoying bark. I’m not sure which one it is but I think it’s the male. He’s learned how to be annoying at least to me. Gentle barks every 45 seconds to a minute. One at a time with a wanting sound to it if that’s even possible. I say it is.

They also walked around and we’re more active but I think that might be partially due to where I sit for the evening pig dinner. It’s more into the middle of the yard and they don’t have any preset laying down areas there so they wander and bark.

They were quite playful today.

All in all a good day. For me, and apparently for all the animals too.

Happy Friday
