Too many dreams

I’m not sure why I woke up so many times this past night, but it did allow me to have a lot of wonderful dreams. The humidity in my room is down at 25% again and my nose is still whistling and playing tunes when I lay down, so I guess my brain is getting a different kind of air flow these days.

Since I started taking Paxil medication al.ost 10 years ago, I don’t usually get sick, and my nose has been reasonably congestion free, but this particular sickness I’m experiencing this fall is long lasting and frustrating. I hope it’s something that passes as the weather changes more.

I’m also not required to wake up and tend to the animals each morning, so I get to go back to sleep more each morning. I was up at 5, 6, 8 and now finally at 8am to start my day.

These extra sleep segments have brought back a feature I’d almost forgotten was a regular occuring theme. The super tired dream, where my character has extreme difficulty staying awake as the dream progresses. Usually it’s quite irritating and I can’t keep my eyes open (in the dream) or have difficulty standing up and staying alert.

In this case, my dream solution turned to finding and trying to use meth. It became a drug seeking dream, re-using my old coke dream motif. I first had to acquire some, which was resolved in the first dream of the sequence, but I lost it by the second dream. I later discovered it had been dissolved in an accidental water flood. There was a lot of excess water all over in that dream.

I woke up and peed. Problem solved.

I finally had some meth shards by the next dream in a familiar metal tin, but the house I was in was active and filled with a lot of other people that seemed to like popping in through the various doors without notice.

There were also a lot of inconvenient pets everywhere including snakes, cats, a lot of small yappy dogs and even a friendly polar bear that liked to tear up the fluffy white rug in a nearby adjoining room.

It was hard to get the chance to put out a line secretly in a safe area. This has been the theme for many of my dreams. I never got to snort coke. It was always moist or blew away or people were watching

In this dream however I did manage to lay out a line and then my next obstacle was shared between my dream universe and reality. My nose was too clogged to snort.

I woke up, blew my nose a few times and fell back asleep. I found my bong, but no lighter so I finally got to snort a bit.

I felt immediately better, which is a great enhancement, even in dream world. I wanted the second snort but the other nostril was still clogged and a friend came into the room so I was denied. I continued the dream not really paying attention to anything happening, but instead — obsessing about getting more.

That much is very realistic.

At about 8am, I woke up one final time, feeling fairly alert. I peed, and wrote this blog.

Happy Wednesday. Man, I wish I had some meth.
