I get another chance to worry about death every day. In the moments following short walks or stair climbs. The moment when I stop to lean on something for a while and catch up breathing.It’s not that I feel I will die right now, but I am aware of my unhealthy diet, and everything else. I suspect heart failure is how I will die and this daily reminder I’m out of shape is a reminder.Probably not enough to force change yet. That doesn’t usually happen voluntarily for men. Change comes after the first heart attack if I survive it.Of course, walking more everyday should help. I’m not ready to be dead yet.
