Science fiction.

Imagine a tool, and it’s purpose was to twist an atom to a straight angle, and attract a second atom.

In an instant, creating a single atom’s width straight line from one point to a fixed point in the distance.

An atom wide string. Invisible to see, hanging in the air, impossible to feel, because it is so small, it passes through solid like a sound wave.

But the ends are attracted, so even though it is invisible, it can be used to toe. It is an invisible string of enormous strength.

Flkip the switch again, and the vertical serial line of atoms twists slightly, and creates a cerated blade.

An invisible chain saw that can slide through everything as it it were butter.

A light saber, as it were.

A string could slice anything apart faster and mnore puzzling than a laser.  It would be invisible to see… things would just slice apart.

You would have to shut the machine off, bacuse you can’t leave that laying around on a table, or earth.

Now imagine there are CREATURES this small, who do not use walls or skin as a boundry. They flow through mnatter like music through the apartment upstairs’s floor.

That would be a cool tool to have on your utility belt.

Side story: Next spiderman should be just a kid who’s seen the movies becoming spiderman without being bittern.  A parcour acrobatic well fit rich kid.
