Saturday Half Day

My work life is pretty light these days. I only have a few customers left in my web business and my weekday job taking care of animals is only about a half hours worth of work split into three simple feeding tasks at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Even so, I don’t sleep in. The weekend is still a break from that routine. I like sleeping in on Saturday. It was half past noon when I first picked up my phone to check messages and social. It’s 1pm now and I’m in the bathroom washing my face and feeling rested and refreshed.

Soon, my animal feeding task may come to and end and my weekends may become meaningless. I’ll be able to sleep till 4pm or later if I want. I will miss purpose and schedule. It will depress me to not have that small task to wake up for.

I prefer to be busy than lazy… It just worked out that I’m pretty good at being lazy. It’s the thing I do best.
