Easier this year I had been excited about a new room mate companion. I was like The Doctor. Always better when he exists with somebody.
The pairing was a bit different this time and it freaked me out. Quite a bit. When Doctor Who gets a new companion the series starts fresh and has a different feel each time. It takes fans a while to adjust to the change. It us a good life lesson. Things can change dramatically and we adapt and enjoy… In time.
My life change roomate brought more baggage with her than usual. She is a troubled woman coming directly to me with no possessions or money… Or happiness. She is what you might refer to as a dependant. She is going to require more support than normal.
I wasn’t expecting this fully. It threw me. I ran away and got high. It was a bad idea but it forced me to evaluate. I wanted this. I asked for it.
My universe welcome a new project. A new normal. Everything I knew to be my day would not be the same again. My home has been rearranged to support two lives, and everything in every direction is an adjustment.
My friend needs support. I must let her know that change like this for both of us, not just a shock to her. We can make it I hope.
