I’ve done lots of conventions in my time, many of which were computer related, and then a whole series of fertility pharmaceutical conventions. More recently I worked the info desk at some fan conventions and Star Trek conventions.

Today was the first day I worked at a dog show. It’s not quite the same as a convention because most of the people here are showing their dogs in order to try and win ribbons and or prizes.

People make fun of Star Trek fans frequently, but the people of the dog show are a whole different type of odd.
