It’s been so long, but I feel no guilt about not blogging. I don’t remember how long I’ve been drug free, but I know I sleep a lot more, and don’t have enough interesting things to blog about. I do the chores, edit a video, go back to bed and sleep till 2pm or 3. Yesterday I slept through till 5pm. Then retired for the night at 9 after some pizza.
I don’t watch much TV and I do a little programming but life is less exciting without the substance that helps make life exciting.
I have enjoyed some cool and elaborate dreams. Pizza enhanced dreams are usually quite good. Drugs have made their way into the dreams, which is a common theme when I have not had any for a while. Usually I don’t have them in my dreams either and I’m constantly looking for them, or if I do have some, I’m looking for a flat surface or a lighter.
This morning the dream expanded back to the world I left behind in Toronto. All my friends made appearances and I was a bit of a bad ass. Some of my dream theme regulars made appearances including abandoned cars that I could not afford to pay out of the towing company yard, and my buddy Mazda was alive again, and I was mad he’d gotten married and was now a strip club wrestler.
We ended a wild drive around evening in my new home where I was a roommate in a house of many women but didn’t have rent money for next month or drugs and I was trying to decide which one I could do without longer.
The adventure included many stops along the Toronto cityscape, and mini storylines about restaurants and shenanigans. It was a mostly happy return to the city and people I miss so much. It’s a reminder it’s time to plan my return.
