When I say there are many things that confuse me let me clearify that there are many more things that don’t confuse me. In general I like to understand things and I put some effort into figuring out a lot of things that other people may not concern themselves with.
I kind of thought I had politics figured out on a higher level but recently I’ve started to find cracks in my theories exposed by some of the things happening in Canada right now.
Certainly I have understood that there are two sides to our political system but more recently people have started referring to each of the sides as those people or just people in general and I don’t think that political parties affiliations are the people. We shouldn’t be saying Democrats are this or Republicans are that because the people might not share those views and they vote one way or another for one specific reason or another. There have to be Republicans that are voting Republican for their tax reasons or whatever. I can’t believe that Republican in general agree with the Republican policies.
One thing Donald Trump has done for the world is educated us all on how many uneducated people there are not only in the country but in the world. I had no idea the numbers of people that… I paused to find the right word but I was choosing between idiots and stupid people and morons and others and none of them are too nice but at this point in politics they don’t seem to care what you call them so I’m going to call them ducks because everything just washes off them.
If I was the kind of person that edited my work that would definitely be changed. The point is I’m starting to see people in Canada that follow some of that ideology and want that sort of politics here which to me is just hard to understand. But what’s really hard to understand is how they can all be in one province. How is it possible that Alberta Canada as a province is beginning to show signs that their four races amend immigration blocking.
How is it possible that a government can make these statements and universally not be shut down or posed in an entire province of people. Traditionally, not an incredibly large number of stupid people actually bothered to vote so when there is a stupid people candidate and he claims to be that openly they cheer but it shouldn’t be enough to carry the vote and allow such craziness.
In other writings I have said that the world takes on a completely different perspective if you start to look at it in 200 500 or 1,000 year cycles instead of the 60 year cycle that we currently kind of look at. An incredible amount of change has happened in my 60 years and an incredible amount of change has happened in every 60 year. Before.
Anyone living in those times would be right to say they have seen more change than any generation before them but what they tend to forget is that that will continue and we do not know what we do not know and we cannot invent what we cannot comprehend but that’s not the point. The point is the future looks kind of bad partly because people don’t care and they’re just waiting around to see what happens and partly because they realize their life will go on no matter how bad it gets or whatever but the alternatively the alternative is effort and people aren’t really too hot on that. Myself included
One of my strongest models is except and adapt and allows me to not have to make decisions of any kind about my life because no matter how bad it gets I’m still there living it and turning it into a story for later because that’s really what life is. But some people don’t want to except that and they want to make change. Most of them don’t even if they want to but man there’s some weird future coming up and I guess I remain a spectator.
The only people coming out of disaster with a positive result are the authors and the drug dealers.
