First day. New day.

The weather is getting cooler. The rooster and three hands are still waking up and expecting to be fed, which is fine. The dogs, or more specifically one of the dogs, seems to be trying out something new. Barking. Barking and whimpering and whining for no apparent reason. At least no reason that I can detect even when I given that query face that sometimes work well for the dog to indicate what it is it’s barking about.

This dog just seems to want to go out so, I changed my schedule a little bit. I’m still not letting it out earlier than 7:10ish but I do let it stay out a little longer and spend some time with the needy cat. This is the first day I’m trying this so we’ll see if it helps the dog bark less.

I know they miss their master and usually Thursday is the day that they tend to act up a little bit because they haven’t really seen him for more than a few minutes since the weekend. If he starts barking Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and Friday, I’ll have to make some changes.

The other big news of course is that today is the first day I didn’t wake up and smoke some meth. Surprisingly, I’m fine with that. I won’t deny that I felt a tiny bit more tired while sitting on the toilet this morning, but the thing is, my tolerance had grown to a point where I could sleep after using meth anyway so not using it doesn’t seem to have made all that much difference so far today.

I didn’t miss the act of smoking. I didn’t miss the boost of smoking. It was different not waking up and making a video or blogging right away but that’s not really totally related.

I have no idea how it will affect me in subtle ways over the next few days or weeks.

You’ll read it here first.
