I’ve always been a fan of dreams and feel privaged to be able to remember mine as well as I can. I have a lot of theories about dreams, all of which I discuss here from time to time.
The non linear timeline is one of the coolest aspects of dreams and to some extent, it can explain an aspect of our general belief system.i have a phrase I have used on occasion: if you believe it, it is true. It’s a complex or simple concept. I’m not certain which. The idea that truth and reality and believing all make up our individual universe and what we believe becomes our truth, regardless of whether or not it matches the reality of what happened.
This is why my universe may be differe than yours, or anyone else’s. The multiverse isn’t science fiction. It’s how we all exist in our personal perspective.
I’m the dream universe, we get to have fun with this idea, because a special non linear timeline exists. I’m my dreams, not only does belief create the reality, but it creates the backstory and proofs after the fact.
I’m my most recent dream, for which I just woke up from moments ago, I was spending time with my mother and a lawyer looking to buy a new home in a new city. The dream progressed we ith the regular amount of full detailed drame and I’m reasonably sure parts of it were out of order. Not quite like a flashback, but more like a revealed memory that was revealed to provide context. When a plot point was spoken, I remember a previous conversation that validated it. The dream played out the previous conversation like a popup memory before returning to the present.
Thinking about it now, I suppose it was like a flashback. I found it fascinating in my waking refection. It sincerely felt like one continuous memory at the time, which is another dream translation problem I can’t fully describe using English words.
