Technically my Thursday at the bus stop but only my second day of work because discovered I didn’t have any way to pay for the bus so it took the day off despite it being only my second day. I will stand by my testimony but it was a legitimate mental health day I couldn’t pay for my bus I freaked out of all of that and then realized it was better because I needed to give my haircut and I needed to do various other things so it was a productive day.

By my standards anyway which basically means I got one or two things done.

So I’m standing in line now for the bus and it’s an earlier version so I should be able to pull into my destination in time to have a breakfast sandwich. I have a bunch of one bottle of water and some starburst gummies for the ride. My focus medication still dehydrating me like crazy and I should have taken yesterday to go to a walk in clinic and see if they have suggestions for dehydration and sleep.

I also need to find a doctor who can and will prescribe my proper medication which will have less side effects.

My feet hurt. These shoes are very old and worn andy walking is up from zero steps to closer to 10 000 a day. These shoes will need a replacement but I got about 10 years out of them as my only footwear. Not bad.

I’ll try not to stress over the trivial decision on what replacement I’ll choose. As an obsessive creature of habit over change, I have bought the exact same size and style for over 25 years. I’ll have to pick a replacement and I’m sure it will be fine, but that decision has been the reason I’m still wearing these old ones. Change! Ahh

Similarly, my awesome jeans are also discontinued. Another hard choice among thousands. None of them will be as nice as these $19.95 stretch jeans from Mark’s.

I can laugh at myself with this aversion to any change that requires me to choose bit as silly as it may seem, deep down it’s a choice I will continue to put off until something happens and I need new shoes that instant.

I was excited to spend $70 on a Google TV dongle to amuse myself at night. The home I’m staying at is owned by one of those “I don’t watch TV” crazy people. She has a 47 inch older flat screen but no connection for any streaming or time shift watching. It’s like the 70s except with a remote.

The TV gadget would be identical to my home system including the network apps and Netflix, Prime, Disney and my Plex.

You can imagine my disappointment when it seemed to have a problem, and 10,000 suggested solutions online were referencing a different issue but one that used the same search terms. Any possible answers that might have worked were too new.

I was going to bring it in to work to test on local screens to see if it was the TV or the new device I just bought and threw out all packaging for.

If it works in office I just need to buy a cheap computer monitor with sound.

I’m not quite at the half way mark but I’ll take a posture break and look out the window for a while.
